A borough had invested over £18m in a project to improve traffic congestion and pollution within the borough. The client team required some help on a specific project within the program to lead the tender and sourcing of the provision and installment of Bluetooth inductive loop detectors.


After successfully completing this project our associate was asked to take over as lead for the entire procurement of the project.


This evolved and required sourcing of all procurement activities including sourcing of services for route redesign, telemetric, dynamic traffic light sequencing, and ANPR to intelligently reduce pollution and accidents. The project was completed within the expected timeline whilst achieving savings on budget in excess of 3%.
