As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ambitious and analytical Graduate Associate (Junior Consultant) to join our team and contribute to client engagements from day one.
Overview
As a Graduate Associate, you will work alongside experienced consultants and senior team members to support the delivery of consulting projects across different clients and industries. You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from research and analysis through to developing recommendations, preparing client materials, and supporting implementation.
The role is suited to someone who is intellectually curious, comfortable working not only with data, but with senior people and stakeholders, and solving problems, and keen to develop their career in management consulting. You will have early exposure to clients and stakeholders, while developing core consulting skills across structured problem solving, analysis, communication, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
– Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to understand client challenges, identify opportunities, and support project recommendations
– Perform market, industry, competitor, supplier, and company research to develop insights and inform client decision-making
– Structure complex business problems into clear areas of analysis and support the development and testing of hypotheses
– Analyse client data, identify trends and patterns, and translate findings into clear and practical insights
– Develop high-quality presentations, reports, financial models, business cases, and other client deliverables
– Support the development of recommendations based on analysis, research, and discussions with clients and project teams
– Participate in client meetings, workshops, and interviews, capturing key insights and supporting follow-up activities
– Work collaboratively with project teams to deliver workstreams against agreed objectives, timelines, and quality standards
– Take ownership of assigned tasks and workstreams, proactively identifying issues and communicating progress
– Support implementation activities and track outcomes to help ensure recommendations translate into tangible results
– Contribute to internal initiatives, business development, proposals, thought leadership, and development of Procurato’s capabilities and intellectual property
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or currently completing a relevant degree, with a strong academic record
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex problems and work with quantitative and qualitative information
– Commercial awareness and an interest in understanding how businesses operate and make decisions
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
– Comfortable working with data and drawing meaningful conclusions from analysis
– Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work within demanding timelines
– Proactive, curious, and willing to challenge assumptions and contribute ideas
– Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working collaboratively with colleagues and client stakeholders
– Adaptable and comfortable working across different industries, projects, and business challenges
– Able to work independently while knowing when to seek input or guidance
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with analytical or data visualisation tools is an advantage
– Previous internship or professional experience in consulting, professional services, finance, procurement, insurance, operations, analytics, or another relevant field is desirable but not essential
